Terms of Service for Sekitarkau

Welcome to Sekitarkau! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our website, mobile app, and any related tools (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using Sekitarkau, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Sekitarkau. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any registration information you provide is accurate.

2. Account Registration and Fees

Creating an account is required to:

  • Add or manage profiles

  • Join or manage groups

  • Pin product or service listings to maps

  • Access non-public data

Browsing of public contents does not require an account.

Some features may require payment. We reserve the right to modify pricing or introduce new paid features at any time.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content (text, images, listings, etc.) you upload to the Platform.

3.2 License to Sekitarkau

By posting content, you grant Sekitarkau a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform.

4. Content Guidelines

You may not post content that:

  • Violates any law or regulation

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights

  • Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information

  • Promotes illegal goods, adult content, or hate speech

We moderate content and strive to remove restricted content using best effort, but we are not liable for user submissions that evade our filters.

5. Groups, Profiles, and Geo Entries

  • Profiles can represent individuals, anonymous accounts, or public personas (e.g., artist, sales, influencer, alias).

  • Groups can be topic-based, business-related, or otherwise.

  • Each group may host multiple geo entries, including products or services tagged to real-world locations.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all contents you post.

6. Planned Features

We may introduce:

  • Messaging between users

  • Ratings and reviews

  • Additional monetization features for curators

By using these future features, you agree to abide by their usage rules once released.

7. Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Payments

Payments for platform features or subscriptions are processed via third-party payment providers. Sekitarkau does not store your payment details directly.

Curators may charge for access to private groups; terms of such transactions are between users, and Sekitarkau is not liable for those interactions.

9. Platform Rights

We may:

  • Modify or terminate any aspect of the Platform

  • Restrict or terminate your account if you violate these Terms

  • Use aggregated or anonymized data for analytics or business purposes

We are not responsible for:

  • Off-platform transactions or communications

  • Misuse or leaks by group members

  • User-posted content that becomes publicly visible by user choice

10. Intellectual Property

All non-user-generated content (e.g., design, branding, software) is the intellectual property of Sekitarkau or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell our services.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or legality of user content.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Off-platform transactions or disputes

    • Inaccurate or harmful listings

    • Data leaks from private groups

    • Actions by other users

    • Platform interruptions or data loss

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your rights to use the Platform end immediately.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and may notify you via email or in-app notice.
